about
"The sun was hot, the green grass was recovering and it grew through in any place where it hadn't been scraped away, coming up between the paving stones as well as on the civic greenswards, while the birches, the poplars and the wild cherry trees unfolded their sticky, scented leaves, and the linden buds swelled to bursting. Jackdaws, sparrows and pigeons built their nests with the chirpiness of springtime and flies buzzed against the sun-heated walls. Joy was everywhere." Resurrection (Tolstoy, 1899)
lyrics
In the deepest depths of our dreams
We slumber
Almost forgotten
The menace awaiting us
Cold dead earth
A shell of decayed bodies
The wind envelopes
The looming dark grey skies
Smoke and dust fill the air
Mountains start to crumble
The birds fallen, to the ground they drop
We bid you farewell
The landscape, an orange glow
The rivers are crimson
Our tears have dried up
It is the end of our time
Will we ever wake up?
Will we ever wake up?
There is no turning back
The soul crushed , but oh...

Every once in a while there’s a band that comes along and ignites a muted flame that has been numbed by this wicked system of thieves.
Makes me wish I was still in crust band, screaming at the kids.
No surrender surrender. No surrender in sight. shawnslaught
This Australian group wraps D-beat in layers of psychedelic fuzz & squall for a howl from the depths of modern dystopia. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2018

Their newest and most interesting release, musically and vocally it's improved across the board which I didn't think possible considering the already high quality of their first ever album. This is the band to listen to right now, the future sound. The lyrical journey alone is staggering in it's scope and creativity.
